This sixteen year old royal whisky matured in bourbon casks and was allowed to undergo a finish in Oloroso sherry casks for completion. Royal Brackla Distillery was founded in 1812 by Captain William Fraser. 200 years later, it belongs to Bacardi, for whose blends (especially Dewar's Blend) the majority of Royal Brackla whisky
